Privacy
Tangent works entirely offline, and nothing you write leaves your device. The current release sends no analytics or telemetry.
What is stored on your device
- Which levels you have cleared and which seals you earned.
- Formulas you chose to save to the notebook.
- Your settings, including play preferences.
This lives in the app's own storage. Deleting the app deletes it.
What is sent
Nothing is sent by the current release. There is no account, backend, analytics SDK, advertising identifier, device identifier, or cross-app or cross-site tracking.
What is never collected
- Your name, email address, contacts, photos or location.
- The text of your formulas or notebook.
- Anything from the device while the current release is running.
Accounts and purchases
Tangent has no accounts and no sign-in. It is a single paid purchase on the App Store, with no in-app purchases and no subscription. Apple handles payment; the app never sees your payment details.
Children
Tangent is rated 4+. It contains no advertising, no tracking, no user-generated content and no social features.
This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and the change will be described in the app's release notes.
